Obituary
Fred Eugene LeSueur, 63, passed away on August 19, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral services are Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mesa Maricopa North Stake Center, 1714 N. Date, Mesa, Arizona. Interment will be at the City of Mesa Cemetery. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.

Sorry, to hear this news. Fred was a close friend during my formative years, I am sorry I didn’t stay in touch after he went to College. Fred was a guardian of mine while growing up, he was giant and I was height challenged. I always felt at ease when he was around, although he never had to, I always knew he would protect me. I wish I could have attended his service but travel finds me out of town. May God be with Fred and give him comfort.

I knew Fred in Argentina when we were on our missions there many years ago. He had a great smile and laugh. We played a game of basketball one night against an Argentine team as a supposed missionary tool. It was mostly Fred against the Argentines, since the rest of us weren’t that good and the Argentines were. They beat us soundly but it wasn’t Fred’s fault. He played his heart out. I found out later he had been a basketball star in high school. I’m sorry for your loss.
